Night walk.

As salam wbt.. Last night we went for a night walk by the marina near our house area...kadang-kadang kalau rajin we will bring the kids and go strolling along the beach at fahaheel... Sementara winter ni best la jalan.. Bile dah panas sok jangan carik pasl la... Waktu malam ramai orang jogging kat sini... So the place tak sunyi... We will park the car at the car park near the fahaheel beach club and walk to the al-kout... Tak jauh sangat, dalam 3 km kot.. Agak2 je.. Hehehehe... So malam tadi jalan sampai al-mansyar, singgah bazaar fahaheel sebab mummy nak bli abaya... Hiks! Then off to johny rocket minum milkshake bli doughnuts afiq and jalan balik to our car and went home...:) what a night! Pheewww!



























The happy faces..:) Well i love the milkshakes by JR.. Ok la... My fav will be the peaunut butter shake.. Hehehe... Sodap..!

selamat tahun baru semua! ape azam tahun baru? haih..yang last year pon tak terlaksana lagi...ade yg dah ade yg belom..so azam this year nak laksanakan azam tahun lepas..boleh? hahahaha...ade i kisah? papepon, alhamdulillah, syukur kehadrat illahi dipanjangkan umur untuk menikmati hidup di tahun yang baru bersama keluarga terchinta...semoga tahun ini lebih baik dari yang sebelumnya..dimurahkan rezeki dan dikurniakan limpah nikmatNya kepada kami sekeluarga..tetapkanlah iman kami dan berilah kekuatan kepada kami dalam menempuh hidup di alam yang fana ini...semoga anak-anakku membesar menjadi anak-anak yang soleh, beriman serta berjaya di dunia dan di akhirat kelak....amin...

Afiq & Aqeel pon dah besar..(dah boleh beradik lagik..ahaks! ) afiq dah nak masuk 6 tahun this coming august and aqeel will be 2 soon... dua-dua dah makin lasak..biaselah..boys kan..biar lasak sket..takkan nak jadik lembik je...sket-sket nanes...huhuhuhu...tak seswai... dunia skarang makin mencabar so siapkanlah anak-anak kita agar dapat menghadapi masa hadapan...:)

aqeel ni dah besar..gigi ade 8 batang..dah pandai cakap nakkk, bakkk, ball, cat, mamam, bye, nana(nenen)..and few baby languages...mulut memang bising asyik berlari je dalam umah selagi tak tido..hehehe.

ni plak abang afiq..slalu kene marah sebab suka bully adik aqeel...skarang dah pegi tusyen and blajar ngaji...dulu mummy time 5 tahun dok memain barbie dolls ngan jiran-jiran...hahahahaha...nasib ye nakk...

soothing teething baby

alhamdulilllah dah 11 hari kita berpuasa ye... so far berpuasa kat sini ok je... afiq still hanging on... takde ponteng puasa lagi.. aqeel tak sihat sangat ni... tengah teething... sian kat dia..skali kuar gigi atas bawah.. mau tak demam hero i sorang tu... malam-malam nak tido pon tak lena... sian btol...:( asyik letak jari dalam mulut je... gigi bawah dah kuar 2 batang, gigi atas baru nampak sebatang, yang lagi satu on the way... maybe tu yang sakit tu...so i pon ape lagi, menggelabah lah sket...hehehehe... pembantu no 1 tentulah en. google...ahaks! semalam google " how to sooth teething baby "... jumpe banyak useful info and i want to share it here, mane tau ade mummies out there yang ade masalah yang same...sharing is caring kannnn...:)

which teeth come in first and how many will there be?

how can i help my baby? 

• There are several things that you can try to help ease the pain of teething; some work and some don’t, but most parents agree they’re always worth a try.  Teething rings, water filled and chilled rubber teething toys; mom and dads fingers can all provide counter pressure that can sometimes bring relief.  Offering your baby a cold bottle of water can also help.  If sucking on the bottle bothers your child, offer a cold cup of water.  The water can also help replenish your baby’s fluid if they’re drooling a lot or have loose bowel movements. 

• Cold food has also been found to be helpful by some parents.  Chilled applesauce, yogurt and pureed peaches may be more appealing to your baby and also more nutritious than a chilled teething ring. 

•  When nothing else helps, you can also turn to the Infant Tylenol.  Before giving your child Infant Tylenol (acetaminophen) always check with your doctor first.  Your doctor will tell you if it’s all right and what the proper amount is to give your baby.  Baby Orajel and other teething pain medicines that are applied to the gums can also provide some relief.  Some parents say the Baby Orajel type products work great, while other parents will say it doesn’t.  Also check with your doctor before giving this type of over the counter pain reliever to your baby.

ok, so far dah try the teething rings, cold ice water and giving aqeel ibuprofen every 8 hours. i kasi panadol panas tak reda la... kasi ibuprofen baru badan dia tak panas and dia ok sket...demam dia pon tak tinggi sangat tapi dia x selesa...makan nasik pon tak nak so i kasi cold puree to sooth his gum... hope aqeel get well soon k! and mummy cant wait to see the new set of teeth! sure look cute on u baby...:)

bila anak-anakku tak sihat

last week was a tired week for me.. afiq batuk-batuk and aqeel was down with high fever.. this season changing really brings many health problem to us..adults and kids.. like last year, afiq kena muntah-muntah and cirit-birit.. haritu aqeel kena flu, coughing and high fever...pity him.. risau jugak sebab dia baru 6 months... then took him to the dr. lutfy's clinic.. dia cakap the condition was bad.. so have to treat aqeel with nebu and antibiotics fast! takut jadi pneumonia pulak...well, this is common here...but not for me! debar tu jangan cakap lah... risau btol... lepas ambik antibiotic, aqeel's high fever was gone! ALHAMDULILLAH! dia dah nak makan and rashes kat muka and neck all gone..hahahaha... harini nak kena g ambik last antibiotic injection.. hopefully aqeel and afiq akan sihat-sihat selalu... semoga dijauhkan dari segala penyakit yang tidak diingini...semoga Allah swt sentiasa melindungi kalian...amin...:)

aqeel's milestone: 6 months plus.

meh cakap pasal anak plak..this time bout aqeel.. alhamdulillah, he's 6 months plus and will be 7 months in a week..fuh, how time flies...kejap je dah besar.. so.. skarang macam-macam dah pandai.. antaranya ialah...

1. he can crawl well..backward and forward.
2. he is now learning to sit.
3. he loves food.( like his mum, heh ) his routine meal will be baby cereal, baby biscuits, steamed vege, toast and fruits. i give him plenty of water to help his digestion.
4. i still breast feed him as usual.
5. he can say pa-pa, da-da, ta-ta, and few baby language..
6. he will scream to get attention from us. haih. *pening*
7. he loves to smile. alot. he will smile if he sees a camera..
8. he talks too much!
9. his diaper size is 4 ( for 7-11 months ), besides he also wears cloth diapers at home.
10. his weight is 8kg plus. 
11. he now sleeps independently in his cot. mummy dah takde 'warmer' atas katil dah..:(
12. he loves listening to nursery rhymes. 
13. he bites! beware..
14. he loves to play with his brother, afiq. aqeel will smile whenever he saw afiq.. brotherly love..:)
15. he can hold his sipping cup well..

malam tadi aqeel kene sunat..hehehehe... actually tak plan pon nak bawak dia malam tadi..i saje bagitau hubby suruh call surgeon wat appointment..time tu dah kul 7.00pm.. hubby call then doc suruh datang sekarang or saturday..hubby cakap, i will come now..i macam "hah"??? now?? oowh, terus berdebau-debau jantung ku ini..hehehhe...takut n risau! sian kat aqeel,,nanti sure dia nangesh kuat-kuat..hahahaha...adoi ai...

then we went to mowassat new hospital, met doc mohamad saad..baik doc tu..he is a surgeon.. dah tua dah,,tapi agak comel..hahahaha... dia explain about the procedure and the method that he will be using.. pastu g masuk wad inpatient..proses kejap je..lam 10 minutes..pastu boleh balik.. malam tadi ade 4 newborn babies and plus aqeel nak sunat.. baby proses agak lama, lam 30 minutes each..aqeel last, so we have to wait for 1 1/2 hour.. ntah brape kali i g toilet sebab nervous ke sejuk..hahahaha...then aqeel's turn..kejap je dah kuar..of course menangis dengan sedih sekali...meleleh-leleh air mata..mummy pon rase cam nak nangesh! doc suh breast feed dia dulu..after 10 mins, doc check balik..he said ok and boleh balik..after a week kene datang jumpa dia balik utk bukak ring tu...fuh, seram tengok... btw, the method is plastibell circumcision device. doc cakap cara ni senang, tak sakit sangat and cepat sembuh.. nak jaga pon senang...

The Plastibell Circumcision Device is a clear plastic ring with handle designed for male neonatal circumcision that has a deep groove running circumferentially. The elective minimally invasive surgical procedure to install the Plastibell device may be performed by an OB/GYN, a pediatrician, a urologist, a family physician or a pediatric surgeon. The important issue is that the medical practitioner is trained in the procedure.

The adhesions between glans and foreskin are divided with a probe. Then the foreskin is cut longitudinally to allow it to be retracted and the glans (the head of penis) to be exposed. The Plastibell comes in 6 sizes. The appropriate one is chosen and applied to the head (the circumcision pictured at right is in this stage). The ring is then covered over by the foreskin. A ligature is tied firmly around the foreskin, crushing the skin against the groove in the Plastibell. Then the excess skin protruding beyond the ring is trimmed off. Finally, the handle is broken off at the end of the procedure. The entire procedure takes five to ten minutes, depending on the experience and skill of the surgeon.^[3]

As with all circumcisions, the procedure should involve adequate anaesthesia, using either EMLA cream,^[4] dorsal penile nerve block, penile ring block, or a combination of these prior to operation. The ring falls off in 3 to 7 days leaving a circumferential wound that will heal over the following week. Typically, the glans will appear red or yellow until it has cornified.

my son, aqeel suka hisap jari..tapi bukan 24 jam..kekadang je..risau gak sebab afiq dulu tak hisap jari. orang cakap tak elok tapi my mum  cakap takpe..nanti dia stop sendiri..hurmmm,so i pon google for some info..

from baby center,Toddlers suck their thumbs because it's comforting and calming. Your toddler probably practiced this habit while he was still in the womb and perfected it as an infant. Now he may turn to his thumb when he's tired, scared, bored, sick, or trying to adjust to challenges such as starting preschool or going on a long car ride. He may also use his thumb to fall asleep at bedtime and to lull himself back to sleep when he wakes up in the middle of the night.

What to do about it?

Don't worry. The American Dental Association says most children can safely suck their thumb — without damaging the alignment of their teeth or jaws — until their permanent teeth begin to appear. (Permanent teeth don't usually erupt until around age 6.) Also, not all children's thumb-sucking is equally damaging. Experts say it's the intensity of the sucking and the tongue's thrust that deforms teeth and makes braces necessary later. Children who rest their thumb passively in their mouth are less likely to have difficulty than children who suck aggressively. Watch your child and analyze his technique. If he sucks vigorously, you may want to begin curbing his habit earlier, say at age 4.

If your child's thumb becomes red and chapped from sucking, you can try applying a moisturizing ointment, cream, or lotion while he's sleeping. (If you apply it while he's awake, it may just end up in his mouth.).

 

Let it go. Nagging or punishing your child won't help, because he doesn't usually realize when he's sucking away. Besides, pressuring him to stop may intensify his desire to do it even more. And techniques such as putting an elastic bandage on his thumb will seem like unjust punishment, especially since he indulges in the habit for comfort and security. Try to wait it out. Children usually give up thumb-sucking when they've found other ways to calm and comfort themselves, says pediatrician Suzanne Dixon. For example, while a toddler who's hungry may suck his thumb, an older child (age 3 or 4) might simply open the refrigerator and look for something to eat or ask his parents for a snack instead.

Preempt the thumb-sucking with other activities. If you can identify times and places when your child is particularly likely to suck his thumb — while watching television, for example — you might try giving him a substitute, such as a rubber ball to bounce or puppets to play with. If he tends to suck his thumb when he's tired, work more naps into his schedule. Or if he turns to it when he's frustrated, help him put his feelings into words. The key is to notice when and where sucking occurs, and divert his attention by offering an alternative.
